Dorothy Hirmke Obituary

HIRMKE
Dorothy Tice (nee Bakelar), age 92, of River Edge, NJ entered God's care on Nov 19. Before retiring, she was an administrative secretary for the Bergen County Board of Social Services. She was a member of Pompton Reformed Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Surviving are her three children, John Tice Jr of Norwood,NJ, Douglas of Davenport, IA and Barbara Burns of Kenvil, NJ, her five grandchildren and her brother Lawrence Bakelar of Sparta, NJ. She is predeceased by her husbands John Tice, Albert Hirmke and her brother Walter Bakelar. Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pompton Reformed Church, 59 Hamburg Turnpike, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 would be appreciated. A memorial service is planned for December 15th at Pompton Reformed Church. Arrangements Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.

Jack and family: Dorothy's outlook was always positive. She had a kind, caring interest in how people were doing. She was a cherished member of the Christian Health Care Community. With the apostle Paul, we rejoice that not even death separates us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
