Anna Griffin Obituary
Anna M. (Borowski), 91, of Passaic, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Born in Duryea, PA, she resided in Passaic for the past 70 years. She was employed as a quality control representative for Hardman Co. in Belleville for 15 years prior to her retirement. Anna is a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Bloomfield and a former long-time parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church in Passaic. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard Griffin, by a brother, Edward Barrows, by four sisters, Sue Cheek, Eleanor Ziomek, Edna Puchalski, and Bertha Evener. Anna is survived by her daughter, Patricia Griffin of Passaic, by a sister, Jean Cedio and husband, Donald, of Clifton, and by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin 9:15 AM Wednesday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012 with a 10 AM Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church. Followed by a burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 PM. Memorial donations to St. John RC Church Soup Kitchen, 22 Mulberry St., Newark, NJ 07102 will be appreciated. www.allwoodfuneralhome.com
