RAFFAELE
Frank, 70, of Franklin Lakes passed away on January 15, 2013. Born in Sicily, Italy he lived in Waldwick before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1988.
He was the owner and operator of Frank Raffaele and Sons Custom Carpentry, Inc. and a member of the Builders Association of New Jersey. A parishioner of St. Luke's R.C. Church in Ho Ho Kus he was also a member of the Midland Park Knights of Columbus.
Frank was a warm, loving and compassionate man who did all he could for people.
He was loved and respected by many. Frank came to America from Italy in 1962, with hopes and dreams of succeeding in his own business. He started his company in 1965 and built his business on honesty and pride. His company will now continue into the future with his sons to carry on the family legacy.
Beloved husband of Antonietta (nee Piazza) Raffaele of Franklin Lakes. Devoted father of Maria Horuzy and her husband John of Waldwick, Joe Raffaele and his wife Jill of Waldwick and Antonello Raffaele and his wife Elizabeth of Franklin Lakes. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Justin, Cristina, Francesca, Nicolas, Joseph and Isabella. Dear stepbrother of Jean Addamo.
Funeral Services Saturday, January 19th at 8:30 am at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho-Ho-Kus. Interment to follow at St. Luke's R.C. Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Frank's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10021.
