Raffaele (Ralph), 78, passed away at home Friday, January 11, 2013. Born and raised in Paterson, the son of Raffaele and Angelina (DeFalco) Piccirilli, who came over from Italy in the early 1900's. A Veteran of the Koran War, Ralph joined the Navy at an early age and traveled the world. Ralph worked three jobs to support his wife and young family. He worked a food distribution route and at two different restaurants at the same time. Ralph enjoyed the restaurant business and spent many years waiting tables and managing such places as: The Holly Inn, Maggies's Dockside and Molly's Fishmarket. Ralph enjoyed watching all sports, mainly football and enjoyed spending long weekends in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He leaves a sister, Viola Hollenbach of Paterson, NJ, two sons Ralph of Las Vegas, NV and Michael of Naples, FL, four grandchildren: Anthony, Angela, Brenden and Gabrielle, many other family members and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale with a gathering of family and friends from 1-2 PM.
