WILSON
Robert L., Sr., 88, born on August 2, 1924 to Preston and Maude (Miller) Wilson of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey passed away on March 1, 2013. He moved from Paramus to Englewood, Florida where he retired in 1980. He is predeceased by his wife Jane (Rieman), and his parents.
He is survived by his children Kathy and John Van Note of Englewood, Florida; Robert Jr and Kathy Wilson of Teaneck, New Jersey; Betty and George Walker of Paramus, New Jersey; Leonard and Nancy Wilson of Greenwood Lake, New York; and Lynn Wagenseil of Englewood, Florida. He has twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from Hackensack High School, and worked with PanAm as a Boeing B-314 Clipper, engine mechanic. Before retiring Bob owned Wilson's Marineland in Fort Lee for over 50 years as well as Wilson's Cycle in Hackensack for over 50 years. Bob was a life member at Hackensack Yacht Club and was commodore in 1958; he also held numerous offices at Englewood Yacht Club.
A private memorial service will be held in Englewood, Florida, and a graveside service will be held at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey.
