Ron began his professional career as a member of the Jesuit order. He taught for several years at Xavier High School in NYC. After leaving the Jesuits, he became a hospital administrator at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, NJ and at Memorial Sloane-Kettering in NYC. During this period he received a Ph.D. from NYU in Education. Later he received his JD degree from Fordham University.
Initially an associate with Dennis J. Cummins, Jr., Esq. in Fair Lawn, NJ, Ronald went to NYC as an associate at Belair, Kline & Evans, then at Quirk & Bakalor, P.C. Finally, he established the Law Firm of Sarno & De Felice, in NYC and Sarno Law Firm in Ridgewood, NJ. His passion for the law initiated his volunteer role as a moot court judge at Yale College for the last four years.
His diversity as an author produced eight books, among which was Prayers for Modern, Urban, Uptight Man, and his role as a writing consultant for the television program Mod Squad. In progress is an adult adaptation of an original EPILLAW TAXONOMY Learning to Think and Write, designed in assisting the learning process of the English language.
A resident of Ridgewood, NJ for the last 25 years, Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Una McGinley Sarno and his devoted daughter, Niamh.
