RUGGIERO
Mario, 93, of Lodi formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on March 31, 2013. Born in the Bronx, N.Y. to the late Salvatore and Raffaella Ruggiero. He was an Army veteran of W.W.II serving in the Pacific Theatre and a member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights. Before retiring, Mario was a presser for Roseann's Attire in New York City and worked in the garment industry for fifty-one years. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lodi and a former parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights and its Holy Name Society. Mario was a life member of St. John's Knights of Columbus Council in Bergenfield. Beloved husband of Mary Lorraine (nee Markham) Ruggiero. Devoted father of Stephen Ruggiero of Stafford, Va. and his late wife Joan, Margaret Ruggiero and her husband Anthony Muia and William Ruggiero and his wife Carrie all of Brooklyn, NY. Stepfather of Jane Todd of Middletown, Cathy Brunetti and her husband Pat of Hasbrouck Heights, Jim Todd of West New York, Margaret Todd of San Diego, Ca. and Linda Brandle and her husband John of Saint Cloud, Fl. Dear brother of Salvatore Ruggiero of Arizona and the late Yolanda Cuocco and Annette Lombardi. Loving grandfather of eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church Lodi at 10 AM. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday 4 - 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to would be appreciated. www.CostaMemorialHome.com
