Ada E. (nee Peirano), 100, of Lexington, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wood-Ridge, NJ on Thursday, October 31 2013 at 10 AM. Departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt at 9:30 AM. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ. Visitation Wednesday evening 5-9 PM.
Mrs. Buglino was born in Ramsey, NJ on January 18, 1913 and passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Peirano and Harriet Boyce Peirano Tickelman and stepdaughter of Edward Tickelman. She was President of the VFW Auxiliary in Garfield, NJ in 1967 and 1973. She was President of the American Legion Auxiliary in 1984. She made afghans for veterans up until last month.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Arthur Finley; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Anne Peck of Idaho and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Buglino of NJ.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dominic J. Buglino and sons, John and Donald Buglino; daughter-in-law, Pearl and six sisters.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 9 2013, at 11 AM. at the Episcopal Church of the Cross, Columbia, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Cross Episcopal Church, 7244 Patterson Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
