Shirley M. (nee: De Vito), age 77 years, of Hawthorne on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Beloved wife of Robert W. A. Maggio, loving mother of Robert Maggio of Highland Lakes, Steven Maggio of Fair Lawn, Anthony Maggio of Boulder, CO, Frank Maggio of Fair Lawn, Scott Maggio of Wayne, Victoria Maggio of San Antonio, TX, Sharon Carradori of Hawthorne, Debbie Amena of Toms River, Denise Maggio of San Antonio, TX, Linda Maggio of Hawthorne, Laurie Mungo of Barry Lakes, Cindy Silverman of Montgomery, NY, dear grandmother of 22, dearest great-grandmother of five, sister of Phyllis Dockery of Hawthorne, Rose Cucinello of Wayne and Millie Dino of Little Falls. Born in Paterson, Shirley lived in Hawthorne for 35 years. She was employed as a School Bus Aide in Special Education for the Hawthorne Board of Education. Mrs. Maggio was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, Hawthorne where she was active in the Home and School Association. Funeral will process 9 AM Thursday, November 7, 2013 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 9:30 AM Mass at St. Anthony's RC Church, Hawthorne. Entombment will follow at the Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa, NJ. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday between 4-8 PM. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
