MAGGIO
Joann (nee Wilkie), 70, of Paramus, formerly of Passaic and Paterson, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014.
Joann had been a resident of Paramus since 1975 and enjoyed spending her winter months in Bonita Springs Florida. Before retiring Joann and her husband Thomas owned Hackensack Auto Wreckers, Inc in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church in Paramus and a member of Moose Legion in Bonita Spring FL.
Cherished wife of Thomas Maggio. Beloved mother of Sally Locicero and her husband Thomas of Paramus, Salvatore Maggio and his fiancée Gayle of Saddle Brook, Thomas Maggio and his fiancée Lisa of Paramus and Troy Maggio and his wife Mariton of Paramus. Devoted grandmother of Anthony, Vincent, Michael, Kayla, Mark, Alyssa, Angelina, Joshua, Justin, Mia and Mason. Loving great-grandmother of Elijah. Dear sister of Vincent and Joseph Wilkie and stepsister of Betty. Predeceased by her siblings Walter, Andrew, Jimmy and Agnes. She was beloved by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus. Funeral Service will be held at 9 AM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of the Visitation R.C.
