Boris Stepich Obituary
STEPICH
Boris J., fell asleep in the Lord on May 7, 2014. Born on May 6, 1925 in Lynch, KY to Spirt and Petrica. Soon after, the family moved to the West Side of New York City. While serving on the USS Fessenden in WWII, he and his crew mates sunk a German U-Boat. He served again in the Korean War and was stationed in Tokyo. He worked at the Rheingold Brewery in Orange, NJ and also as an Ironworker in NJ, NY, TX and PA. Boris was proud that he worked on the construction site of the Twin Towers. He married his wife Miriann in 1961 and raised their son Timothy in Teaneck, NJ. Preceded by his parents, wife and brothers Nicholas, George, and Michael. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law Cyndi, their grandchildren Charles, David and Emma, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation and prayer service will be on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 7-9 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, located at 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral Service will be at The Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Sava, located at 15 W. 25th Street, Manhattan, NY on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 3 PM.
