William Shouldis Obituary
William J., 60, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Ridgewood, NJ.
William was born on November 3, 1955 in New York City, NY to the late Richard and Anna (nee Mulhall) Shouldis. William grew up in Bergenfield and then resided in Highland Lakes for over 30 years.
William is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 34 years Barbara A. (nee Lorenzini) Shouldis, his sons, Bill Shouldis of Chicago, IL and Dan Shouldis of Highland Lakes and his faithful dog Maggie. He leaves behind his sister Celia and will be reunited with his best friend and brother, Richard. He will be missed by his sister-in-law, Lorraine and his nephews Sean and Ryan, and his brothers-in-law John, Jim, Alfred and David. Dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
He was employed at Elmwood Ford and then became the General Manager of Quality Auto Mall in Rutherford, NJ. He worked hard and while he didn't invent vacation, he was a master of it. He led an exemplary life and cherished his time with his family. William was an avid reader, history buff and longtime New York Jets fan except for the post-season when he had to root for the Broncos.
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 10th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct), and may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 11th at 9 AM for 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial Service at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church Highland Lakes, NJ, interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated. For directions and condolences see

Never gone, never forgotten. I miss you guys & always remember the good times. I always remember the support you & Richie always gave me & the wise advice. I know in my heart you will both always watch over the kids. Even when life gets tough we will rise above it with love & humor to honor you both.
