To Donnie's Children, Sisters and the entire Barcomb Family, I'd like to express my deepest sympathy at your loss. I knew Donnie when we were both just 17 and he was entering the Army. Even as a teenager, Donnie was a loving, caring young man with a fantastic smile and a twinkle in his eye and would do anything to help out a friend. We lost touch over the years, but i am glad to know that he found such happiness in his Children and happiness in his adult life. R.I.P. Donnie. You were loved by many

I have many memories of Don from playing music together at the Pillars ages ago to rocking in the basement of the drug store years later. Don was a real person, an honest man, and always straightforward. He was the drummer, and sergeant, of the band, keeping us all in line, but always with a smile. He could be gentle like a teddy bear and loved his kids so much. He loved cooking, even making his own bread. He loved learning, going back to school later in life to start a new career. Music was so important to him. As a drummer he always had a real solid beat. He was an historian and connoisseur of music. He always knew who was playing the song. He loved the best sounds of music. Tom Petty, Steely Dan, southern rock, jazz come to mind. He loved it all.
With sympathy to Don's family,

Mark Doyle
