Donna A. Moyer March 16, 1953 - January 24, 2013 Griswold - Donna A. Moyer, 59, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at William W. Backus Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 16, 1953, she was the daughter to the late Donald and Ann (Walters) Lockard. Donna married Peter Moyer on September 23, 1991 in Altoona, PA. He survives her. Donna was a talented performer, well known as an aerialist, equestrian, and elephant trainer working for the Hamid-Morton Circus from 1969-1974. Additionally, Donna graduated from Brio Academy of Cosmetology earning certification as a makeup artist; she enjoyed making the world beautiful as a makeup artist. Her other interests included crafting, gardening, and animals. Most of all, Donna lived for, cherished, and loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her sons, Eric Garber of Griswold and Adam Garber of Loretto, PA; daughters, Buffy Gardner of Altoona, PA, Heather Greene of Griswold, and Stacy Garber of Hollidaysburg, PA; brother, Ricky Everly of Panama, FL; sisters, Debbie Lockard of San Jose, CA, Tina Porta of Hollidaysburg, PA, Jackie Lockard of Ridgeway, PA, and Christine Ettore of Cheshire; ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her brothers, Henry Everly, Brian Lockard, and John Lockard; and sister, Brenda Woomer. Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. at Leffler Funeral Home, 30 N. Main St., Jewett City. The funeral will assemble on Wednesday, January, 30, 2013 at 9:15 A.M. at Leffler Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Jewett City. Interment to follow church services at Pachaug Cemetery, Griswold.
