Helmut "Pete" Bauerle November 12, 1941 - March 29, 2013 Beverly Hills, FL. Helmut "Pete" Bauerle, 71, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 29th, after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Schonnbrun, Russia, on November 12, 1941 and came to live in the United States in 1953. He spent his youth in upstate New York, until he enlisted in the US Marines where he earned a Purple Heart
for his service in Vietnam. As a talented machinist with American White Cross (formerly Acme Cotton), in Dayville for over 20 years, he had both pride and integrity in his work. He was an avid sports fan; he especially enjoyed watching Tiger Woods and the UConn Women's Basketball team. He and his wife Susan retired to Florida in 2004 where they enjoyed their time together golfing, playing online poker, and reading by the pool. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; a loyal friend; a helpful neighbor; and a kind stranger. He is survived by his wife, Susan Bauerle; his daughter, Kim Bauerle; his granddaughter, Rylee Malone; his trusty pup, Sparky, and many extended relatives. He touched many lives in many ways; he will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. A special thank you to the HPH Hospice in Beverly Hills, Florida, for their loving care and support. Memorial donations can be made to Emeritus at Barrington Place Hospice, 2341 West Norvell Bryant Highway, Lecanto, FL, 34461.
