Lillian R. Baldwin October 27, 1925 - October 11, 2012 Preston - Lillian R. (Wojcik) Baldwin, 86, of Old Jewett City Rd., Preston, died Thursday at Hartford Hospital. Born in Norwich on October 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Antonia (Mikula) Wojcik. She was formerly married to Thomas Levandowski (predeceased) and then to Wallace Baldwin, Jr. (predeceased). She had six children and step children. George Baldwin and his wife Lena, Glenn Baldwin and his wife Sheri, Gregory Baldwin and his wife Sheree, Gary Levandowski and his wife Jane, Cynthia L. Winton and her husband Robert, and Christine B. Schulz and her husband Timothy. Also, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was a 1942 graduate of N.F.A., and was a telephone operator for S.N.E.T. When she moved to Preston, she was a teachers aide for Poquetanuck School. After she retired, Lillian loved taking trips, and went to many places around the world. Visitation 9 to 10 A.M. Tuesday at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Taftville. Interment will be private at a later date.
