Romeo A. Maheu Jr. uly 27, 1987 - June 22, 2013 Eastford - Romeo A. Maheu Jr., 25, of Eastford, died Saturday morning, June 22, 2013 from a motorcycle accident in Brooklyn. He was born in Putnam, on July 27, 1987 to Cindy Warren of Putnam and the late Romeo Maheu Sr. of Willimantic. He spent most of his life growing up in Woodstock. Romeo graduated from Woodstock Academy in 2006. He worked at Fort Hill Farms in Thompson since 2006. His love of John Deere tractors, driving old Mac trucks, riding his four wheeler and his motorcycle was well known to all who knew him. His favorite saying was "Ra ta ta". His favorite song on Karaoke night was the "International Harvester" song by Craig Morgan. He said "I love this song and I can sing it good". He leaves a wife, Heidi Maheu of Woodstock; mother Cindy Warren of Putnam; step-father Richard Harrington of Woodstock; grandfather Henry Warren of Dayville; brothers Henry Witter of Woodstock, John Bradley of Brooklyn, Richard Maheu of Missouri, Jeremy Brainerd of East Lyme; sisters, Lynn Bradley of Putnam and Amanda Levesque of Putnam. He was predeceased by a brother Shane Maheu. He is also survived by extended family, father figure Mark Goodhall Sr., Brothers Casey and Mark Goodhall of Eastford, nephew Amir and niece Devin Sanchez and their mother Dara Gremo of Woodstock, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 10 A.M. - Noon at Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. The family requests friends do a good deed in Romeo's honor.
