Gary Carl Laskowski March 22, 1950 - August 14, 2009 Bessemer City, NC - Mr. Gary Carl Laskowski, 59 of 229 Whitesides Road, Bessemer City, NC passed away August 14, 2009 at his residence. Born March 22, 1950 in Norwich, Connecticut to Ruth Bertha Vergason Laskowski Bailiff and the late John Edward Laskowski, Jr. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joyce Frances Sorensen Laskowski; two daughters, Cherie Lynne Laskowski of East Haddam, Connecticut and Charlene Nicole Echevarria of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, Desmond Kade Echevarria and Kayla Savannah Echevarria; and a brother, Ronald John Laskowski of Norwich, Connecticut. Services will be held at a later date. Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home is serving the Laskowski family. A guest register is available at www.stamey funeralhome.com.
