Lorraine T. Bober Obituary
Lorraine T. Bober May 18, 1935 - October 4, 2011 NORWICH - Lorraine T. Bober, 76, a lifelong resident of Norwich, died on Tuesday, October 4 at Coccomo Memorial Health Care in Meriden. On May 18, 1935 she was born in Norwich, the daughter of the late Edward and Stella (Przekop) Kiczuk. Lorraine was a graduate of the Norwich Free Academy class of 1952. Having retired in 1999 she last worked for the State of Connecticut with the Public Health Dept. in Hartford and took great pride in her meticulous work and attention to details as a secretary with the health department. Lorraine was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. As a talented pianist she had a real passion for playing the piano and would sometimes play for hours at a time. She began playing as a child and continued to play until recently. She is survived by her children, Joseph T. Bober and his wife Suely, of Middletown, Susan B. Marshall of Voluntown, Thomas S. Bober of Abington, James M. Bober and his wife Patricia, of Woodstock and June L. Deptulski and her husband Raymond S. Deptulski, Jr., of Preston; brother Edward Kiczuk of Norwich; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will assemble on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Ave, Norwich followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held tonight from 5 -7 P.M. at the funeral home.
