Oscar R. Clark Apr 23, 1941 - Jul. 17, 2014 PLAINFIELD - Oscar R. Clark, 73, of Plainfield and formerly of Canterbury, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born in Canterbury on April 23, 1941, son of the late Rodney and Ida (Uusitalo) Clark. He was first married to Eria (Tolmunen) Clark who died in 1984. He later married Glenna-Lee (Burbridge) Clark on October 12, 1990. Mr. Clark worked at the former John Meyer Company in Norwich as a cutter pattern maker for 27 years and later for Levine Manufacturing for 10 years. He was a member of the Canterbury Grange for 49 years and wrote articles for the Norwich Bulletin in the 60's and 70's. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, William C. Clark of Brooklyn and Timothy Clark and wife Karen Lee Clark of Pomfret Center; two grandchildren, Jacob Thomas Clark and Abigail Eria Clark; Aunt, Anna Uusitalo Burnham and husband Herb of Windham. Funeral Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The Michael J.
