Pauline E. Duprey Sept. 27, 1931 - Aug. 10, 2014 POMFRET CENTER - Pauline E. Duprey, 82, of Pomfret Center beloved wife of 65 years of Daniel L. Duprey passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2014. She was born September 27, 1931 in Plainfield, a daughter of the late Harry and Flora (Desrosiers) Ducat. Mrs. Duprey had lived in Sterling for many years, retiring to Zephyrhills, FL for 25 years and returning to Connecticut to be near family. She was employed by the Pervel Credit Union and later Jewett City Savings Bank, retiring many years ago. Mrs. Duprey enjoyed gardening, swimming in the pool and the wildlife surrounding her home. She loved the closeness of her family and many friends. Besides her husband she leaves two sons and daughters in law, Dennis and Frankie Gale Duprey of Kingsland, GA, Gary and Catherine Duprey of Pomfret Center. four grandchildren Christopher and wife Kelly Duprey, Samantha Duprey and partner William Coody, Daniel Duprey, and Jennifer Duprey. two great grandchildren Abygail Gregg and husband Ed, and Jack Sullivan. three brothers Leroy Ducat of Danielson, Joseph Ducat of Naples, FL, Jerry Ducat of Jamestown, NY. two sisters, Jean Nadeau of Zephyr Hills, FL and Flora Krauss of NY. Also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Jody Duprey, three brothers Albert, Robert and James Ducat, four sisters, Noella Young, Rita Bourque, Elaine Salisbury and Theresa Stawartz. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in All Hallows Church, Moosup. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT. 06492.
