Hall, Richard L.  
Richard Lorne Hall of Langley, BC passed away May 11, 2015 following an unexpected illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Richard's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His humour and presence brought so much joy to his family and friends. Richard is survived by his daughter, Jenna Hall; father, Ray Hall; brother, Steve Hall; sister, Jacquie Hess; sister in law, Pam Hall; brother in law, Keith Hess; nieces, Stephanie Hall, Amelia Hall, Devon Hess, Kelsy Hess, Lynsey Hess; nephew, Peter Hall and a large extended family. A memorial service will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home in Langley, BC on May 29, 2015 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Howie, Brian A.  
HOWIE, Brian Alexander. Born September 11, 1945 in Brandon Manitoba. Brian passed away peacefully on May 4, 2015, surrounded by his family, at Richmond General Hospital. Survived by his wife Barbara Louise, daughters Kimberley and Angela, and brother Bruce (Barbara Marie). Brian was a talented guitar player and musician and he was also an employee of Canada Post for over 30 years. Special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Richmond General Hospital ICU for their care and support over the past 3 years. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at Ladner United Church, 4960 48th Avenue, Ladner BC on Saturday June 13 at 2pm. Light lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Richmond General Hospital or the Delta Community Animal Shelter in Brian's name is greatly appreciated.

Henry, Francis Murray  
HENRY, Francis Murray March 4, 1922 - May 6th, 2015 Murray passed away on May 6th with his beloved wife May by his side. He is survived by son Brian, (daughter-in-law) Christine Collison, daughter Catherine, (son-in-law) John Sommerville and grandchildren Megan, Zachary, Krysta, Yale and Caitlyn. Murray was born in Taber, Alberta and grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta. After serving in the RCAF, he graduated in 1950 as a mechanical engineer from the University of Saskatchewan and had a successful career with Shell Canada in Winnipeg and Vancouver. Murray happily retired in 1977 and then enjoyed cruising, travelling, canoeing, curling, hiking and most of all being with family and grandchildren. Murray joined Tetra, an organization making assistive devices for the handicapped which gave him immense satisfaction, several Gizmo awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. Joining Kiwanis of Capilano and serving as President and past president gave him many years of friendship and community service. Murray lived a full and happy life and his family are so lucky to have loved him and been loved by him for so long. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Lions Gate and North Shore Palliative Care Program and Home Care givers Ronnie, Joan Cherry and Ruby. At Murray's request there will be no service.
