Ellis, Mary Ellen (Park)
ELLIS - Mary Ellen July 6, 1934 to February 12, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ellis (nee Park), on Thursday February 12th, with her husband at her side after a lengthy battle with MDS. During her illness she displayed a great deal of determination, courage and grace. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Stanley, her daughter Sandra Simpson (Brian), her 4 sons; Roy (Liz), Gary (Sandra), Raymond (Shannon) and Wesley (Tracy), 8 grandchildren; Pamela (Jason), Christine, Gillian (Don), Janice (Wesley), Shelby, Jenna, Sayge and Dawson, 5 great grandchildren; Kaleigh, Keanen, Desmond, Sawyer and Able, as well as 2 brothers; Dave Park (Darlene) and Len Park (Pat). She was predeceased by her parents Pete & Lil Park and her son Donald. Mary was born in Vancouver and spent most of her childhood in the Riley Park area, just off of Main Street. In her early adult years she worked at the Vancouver Stock Exchange. Around that time she met Stan at an HMCS Discovery dance and they were married soon after. Stan and Mary spent their early married years in Kerrisdale, but eventually moved to Beach Grove where they started their own family business, Nu-Port Building Cleaning. They both worked very hard running the business, raising six children and renovating their home on Duncan Drive where they have lived for over 50 years. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who treasured her family, enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for others. Her home was always a welcoming place for friends and family, where many memorable gatherings were hosted over the years. Her love and passion for supporting everyone around her will be truly missed but fondly remembered. The family would like to thank all of the Hematology staff at Royal Columbian Hospital and the ER Team at Delta Hospital who worked so hard to support and comfort her during her illness. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, March 7, 2015, at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Rd. Delta, BC. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Delta Hospital Foundation.

Ellwyn, Allan Keith
ELLWYN - Allan Keith December 5, 1942 - February 6, 2015 Allan Keith Ellwyn passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015 with his children by his side. Keith was 72 years old. Keith was born in New Westminster and later moved to Richmond where he met his future wife, Elizabeth Dale Thompson in high school. They went on to get married in Richmond and had two children, Brent (Tram) Ellwyn and Janet (Ted) Moore (nee Ellwyn). They moved to Ladner in 1965 to a brand new house and lived there ever since. Keith was a helicopter mechanic, as was his father Albert (Hank) and his older brother Bruce. Work took Keith to many places in Canada, the US and even Jamaica while he worked for Okanagan Helicopters and later Deltaire Industries. In 1980 he started his own helicopter repair business under the name of Falcon Helicopters Ltd. Keith and Dale worked tirelessly establishing the business with Dale doing all the bookkeeping while Keith worked long hours growing a loyal customer base. They both worked in the business until 2001 when Keith's health took a turn. By 2004 he was very ill until he was given the gift of life; a new heart, which restored his health. Keith and Dale were able to spend the next several years enjoying retirement until Dale became ill and passed away in 2011. The next phase of Keith's life was focused on family and in particular his four cherished granddaughters Gillian (13) and Allison (11) Moore and Keira (11) and Isabella (9) Ellwyn. Keith was never too far from the hockey arena, soccer field or concert hall watching them in their various activities. Throughout his lifetime Keith was a dedicated son to Hank and Dorothy Ellwyn, brother to Bruce (Eudene), Terry, Tim (Revelin) Ellwyn and Judith (Bob) Blacker, uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews, husband and father. Keith was loved by family and friends alike. He made friends easily and even during his last few months in Delta Hospital, he always had a kind word and a friendly smile for the doctors, nurses and visitors alike. There will be a celebration of life for Keith at the Fisherman's Hall in Ladner on Sunday, March 29, 2015 between 3:00pm - 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delta Hospital.

Enright, James
ENRIGHT, James October 9 1987 - February 15 2015 It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our beloved James was tragically taken from us. James will be sadly missed by his mom, Barb (Mark), his sisters Shannon (Donald) and Tami (Steve), his nephew Tristan, uncle Brian Rimmer, grandmother Norma Rimmer, step-sisters Emily Smallwood and Naomi Stevenson and dearest friends Kent Cairncross and family, Alex Stojanovski and too many other close family and friends to possibly name. The outpouring of messages received by the family truly shows what a faithful and loving friend he was to so many. James was happiest when out enjoying nature and had a great passion for fishing. James embraced each day to the fullest - right up to the very end. Words cannot express our devastation, but the fact he died a hero helping a friend in need fills us with love and speaks of the true man that he was. A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 27th at 10am at First Memorial Boal Chapel at 1505 Lillooet Road in North Vancouver.
