Carmen was a wonderful friend and colleague. I was privileged to work with her at the Capilano University School of Business where she was a superb administrator.
My condolences to her family whom she loved and talked of often.

I was saddened and shocked to learn of dear Carmen's passing. I worked with Carmen for many years in the School of Business at Capilano College. Carmen was extremely dedicated, smart, kind and funny. The backbone of the department and a joy to work with. Over the years, we became good work buddies and solved many an issue with a cup of tea and a Tim Tam.
To Harry, Tanya and Trent my condolences on the loss of such a wonderful lady.

I was so very sorry to hear of Carmen's passing. I worked with her at my very first job, in the Dean of Medicine's office at UBC in the late '60's. She was so kind and helpful to me and I valued her friendship very much. I remember her telling me when she was pregnant with your first child, that the very sight of your orange Volkswagon camper van gave her the worst symptoms of morning sickness that she ever had during her pregnancy! I knew she would make a great mom, and apparently I was right. Bless Carmen, Harry and your children and grandchildren. I know her loss will be difficult to handle and my thoughts are with you now and in the months/years to come.

I know Carmen From Ron Andrew . She was indeed one of my very considerate & lovely participants.
I am glad I had this opportunity to let her know that her presence was missed when no longer she could join in our Aqua class..
May tender memories soften your grief and fond recollection bring you relief and lead you through.
Sharing in your sorrow.

I knew Carmen from 'the pool,' where we often managed to escape the wrath of the instructor and chat. She had a great sense of humour, a quick mind, and loved those grandkids of hers. I'll be missing her, as will you!

Dear Harry & Family,
Robbie and I are so saddened to hear of Carmen's passing. We met her in Versailles, I believe at JiCable '11. It was a joy to meet her, and she and Robbie hit it off very well.
May God comfort and heal your hearts, as He promises in His Word.
God Bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss of Carmen. I worked with her at Capilano College in the early 80's. She was the bright spot in the workplace. A joy to work with. I have often thought about her over the years. Good people stay in other people's minds and hearts.
