WAYCOTT - Perry Richard June 4th 1951 - Aug 30th 2013 It is with great sadness in our hearts that the family of Perry Waycott, announces his sudden passing on August 30th, 2013 with his family by his side. Perry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He will be forever missed by his wife Sharon, sons Brett (Amy), Mitch (Pearl) and step-son Barry (Theresa) DeMarco. Sisters Peggy (John) Mackie, Pat (Laurie) Olmstead, also brother Pete (Michelle) Waycott and grandchildren Chelsey, Reilly, Austin, Hayley, Cameron and Ryan as well as his many nieces and nephews. Perry spent his high school years in Salmon Arm and graduated in 1969 where he met his lifelong friend Jerry (Debbie). Perry worked at various jobs in Salmon Arm until he joined the Navy. After returning from the Navy he made a life time career with BC Tel/Telus from 1971 until his retirement in 2006. Perry enjoyed golfing at Maple Ridge Golf Course and since 2009 at Shuswap Lake Estates where he lived. The winters were spent at Thousand Palms, Palm Springs California where Perry acquired new and lasting friendships, the same as he had acquired through all his years of work and golfing. Perry's friends were special to him and all times Perry spent with his family and grandchildren were cherished moments…….he loved us all. A celebration of life for Perry will be held at Meadow Gardens Golf Club (Ebony Room) Lougheed Hwy, Pitt Meadows, on Friday Sept.13, 2013 at 5:00pm.
