FENYO, Robert Karl 1937-2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Fenyo on September 17, 2013 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Robert passed away peacefully at North Shore hospice with his family by his side in his final days. His life was an adventure filled with love, curiosity, challenges and hardships. He was a deeply devoted and romantic husband, inspirational father who instilled strong values in his children and dear friend to many. He will be fondly remembered by his sons John & Nicholas, daughter Mercedes and wife Connie, along with his friends, nieces, nephews, god-daughters and in-laws. We will miss his engaging stories, political opinions, risqué jokes, quick wit, Hungarian cooking and his perspective captured in pictures. Robi had the unique gift of making instant connections with others through his humor and love of travel, F1 racing, nature and photography. He was a charming, passionate, adventurous Hungarian who loved life. Our family's deepest thanks go to Dr. Paul Sugar and the team of caring and capable nurses at the North Shore Hospice. As Robert wished, cremation will be taking place and there will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Robert's name to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation earmarked for the North Shore Hospice.
