REALIN, Teresita February 26, 1950 - March 26, 2014 On the morning of March 26, 2014 we sang lullabies and I said good-bye to my beloved Mother, Teresita. Mom was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada on her own in 1992. She worked hard and built her career and then had me join her in 1996. We always cherished our quality time together, sharing a love of music and dance and travel. Teri worked first as a highly valued caregiver and then as a Health Care member of the North Shore Cluster Care-South team with Vancouver Coastal Health. She loved her work and her patients. She was a very special individual who drew people to her with her compassion, friendly personality, sense of humour and true love of life. Teri was a devoted and proud Mother and brought joy to our home. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Jo Ann Guerrero, sister Encarnacion, nephews, nieces, co-workers and many friends. A special thanks to Dr. Donna Forrest, Dr. Maryam Nazary and the many nurses and volunteer drivers for taking good care of my Mom. Teri wanted everyone to know that she would always carry them in her heart. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at St. Pius Church, 1150 Mt. Seymour Road, North Vancouver at 11:00am. A celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Teri's memory to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Vancouver General Hospital or BC Cancer Agency. "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my Mama you'll be."
