The Guest Book is expired.

Henny left us suddenly but peacefully at St. Michael's Centre, Burnaby, with daughter Cathy and son-in-law Ken McKillop at her side. She also survived by grandson Robin (Danielle), great granddaughter Zoe, sister Kitty van Roekel-van Lienden and family and friends in Holland. Born in Wageningen Holland, Henny survived the war years and came to Port Kells as a war bride. A guide leader and businesswoman, she loved gardening, travelling, dancing and big band music. Henny supported and was proud of the achievements of her daughter and grandson. Thank you to the staff at St. Michael's and to long time friend Tena, especially for spirit-lifting notes over the last ten years. A celebration of Henny's life will be held at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road North Vancouver, at 2 PM Sat. August 16, 2014. Donations in Henny's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
