HORNBY, Agnes Lucy A longtime resident of the North Shore, Aggie died peacefully at the age of 88 in North Vancouver. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, four siblings, a niece and two step-children. Aggie is survived by her daughter Lois Holubitsky (Ori), many nieces and nephews and her beloved toy poodle, Spring. She was the dearest soul, lover of animals and friend to many who met her along Lonsdale with Spring sitting atop her walker, dressed in matching hat and coat. A lady to the end, she was a gentle woman who made our world a kinder place. Sincere gratitude to the staff of Evergreen House 2 North for helping Aggie spend her last days in comfort and dignity. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Edmund's Church, 545 Mahon Avenue, North Vancouver, B.C. at 11:00am on Thursday August 21, 2014. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the SPCA, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Hollyburn Funeral Home 604-922-1221 www.hollyburnfunerals.com
