Marlene G. Williams, 74, of Front Royal, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born, December 25, 1938, in Front Royal, daughter of Robert and Pearl Virginia Figgins Henry.
She had worked for Royal Haven Rest Home in Front Royal and was a member of the Woman of the Moose Chapter #1194.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Giles Henry and a sister, Jean Carty.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Williams and Tina Williams, both of Front Royal; one son, Wayne "Rooster" Williams of Front Royal; step-daughter, Stacy Sullivan of Front Royal; two grandchildren, Ashley Williams and Justin Williams; one great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Williams; one brother, Keithern Henry of Front Royal; and the father of her children and lifetime friend, Junior Williams of Front Royal.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Williams, Greg Sanner, Joe Sullivan, Justin Williams, Jimmy Talbott, and Jamie Talbott.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home.
