Calvin Coolidge See, 89, of Toms Brook died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Life Care Center of New Market.
Mr. See was born June 5, 1924 in Hardy County, West Virginia, son of the late Wardney V. and Zella M. See.
He was a lifelong member of Maurertown Brethren Church, veteran of the U.S. Army during WW11 and was a retired truck driver with Hemmingway Freight Transport.
He was married August 11, 1947 to Janet Raynor See who preceded him in death February 2, 2013.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Strickland of Toms Brook; a grandson, Brian Peer of Winchester; and a nephew, Richard H. Dyke, Jr.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Sunset View Memeorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Craver officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert C. Green, Jr., Richard H. Dyke, Jr., William Raynor, Jr., Wayne Shaffer and David Litten.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.

My condolences on the passing of your dad. He worked with my dad (Bill Ryman) and was a neighbor of ours many years. I often stopped in to see the Sees while riding my bike as a kid. Nice folks. God bless you all.
