Strother, Patricia Victoria - Strasburg  
Patricia Victoria Strother, age 41, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away peacefully Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence. In her short life she accomplished many things. Born in Durham, NC, she started her higher education at the University of North Carolina Greensboro receiving two Master's. She then got her Master's in education from George Mason University and just last May a Master's from Georgetown. She was a soldier, an educator, a mentor, a friend, but most of all a beloved daughter. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Patricia and Staton Strother, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Metta and Clate Arnold; and an aunt, Michelle Uppercue. She is survived by her parents, Staton and Terry Strother; cousins, Jason and Tammy Uppercue and their families. Patricia requested that she be cremated with no public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Winchester Medical Center Foundation, for the Valley Health Cancer Center, 220 Campus Blvd, Suite 402, Winchester, VA 22601 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Simmons, Olga E. (Burns) - Edinburg  
Olga E. Simmons, 101, of Edinburg, has gone to Heaven on Monday, May 18, 2105 at her home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery in Edinburg. Pastor George Bowers will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Mrs. Simmons was born February 10, 1914 in Headwaters, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Orin and Martha Kincaid Burns. She was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren. She was married to the late Floyd O. Simmons. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Simmons; a sister, Katherine Thomas; a brother, Seward Burns; a granddaughter, Susan Riffey and a great grandson, Blake Ingles. She is survived by two sons, John Simmons and wife Patsy of Edinburg, and Nelson Simmons of Warren County; five grandchildren, David Simmons, Rachel Ingles, Elizabeth Corvalan, Michael Simmons, and Jeffrey Basye; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Smith, Evelyn I. - Berryville  
Evelyn Irene Smith, 94, of Berryville, passed away Friday at the Winchester Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro. Arrangements are being handled by Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville.
