Allen, Beulah Herald - Woodstock  
Beulah Herald Allen, 66, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 in Winchester. A Funeral Service will be held, Monday December 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Pastor Banks Swanson will officiate. Mrs. Allen was born May 3, 1948 in Manchester Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Turner Herald. She was a member of the Shenandoah Community Fellowship Church. She worked at Aileen for 25 years and later retired from John's Manville. She was a hard worker, loved gardening and very devoted to her family and took care of her late husband, Eugene Allen for 12 years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Roger Herald. She is survived by a daughter, Misty Rosenberger of Woodstock; a step-son, Greg Allen of Kentucky; two step- daughters, Tamela Kagey and Shelley Allen, both of Stephens City; six grandchildren, Madison Rosenberger, Bryan Bowers, Kendall Rosenberger, Ashley Rosenberger, Johnny Kagey, and Presley Allen; one sister, Helen Markham of Woodstock; and two brothers, Chuck and Paul Herald both of Woodstock. Pallbearers will be John Kagey, Johnny Kagey, Charles Herald, Jr., Troy Allen Herald, Duane Lee Herald, and Bryan Bowers. Family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shenandoah Community Fellowship Church, 197 Patmos Rd. Woodstock, Virginia 22664. Bausserman, William Franklin - Strasburg  
William Franklin Bausserman, age 95, of Strasburg passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Greenfield Reflections of Strasburg. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 19th at Strasburg Christian Church with Rev. William Erbach officiating. Burial will follow in Fishers Hill Cemetery with full military honors by Shenandoah American Legion Post 77. Mr. Bausserman was born September 29, 1919 in Fishers Hill, a son of the late Omar and Katie Lola Grove Bausserman. He was a member of Strasburg Christian Church, Strasburg Moose Lodge No. 403, Sons of Confederate Veterans and Spurmont Masonic Lodge, No 98, A.F. & A.M. He was retired from American Brake Shoe with 20 years of service and was the State Farm Insurance agent in Strasburg from 1968 to 1988. He served in the 5th Army Air Corp. He was the husband of the late Leta Marie Fry Bausserman. Surviving are his daughter, Candy B. Grimsley and husband, Rev. Bob Grimsley, of Strasburg; his son, William L. Bausserman of Strasburg; his sister, Mary Sprouse of Hartford, Connecticut; three grandchildren, Brad Stover and wife, Leslie, Shara Stover and Adam Scott Bausserman; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ray Steele, Wayne Price, Alan Strosnider, Larry Hottle, Jay Neal and Wayne Bly. Honorary pallbearers will be Spurmont Masonic Lodge No. 98, A.F. & A.M. Bear, Gloria Lynn (Williams) - Manassas  
Gloria Lynn Williams Bear, 73, of Manassas, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Loving Arms Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Jones. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick. Gloria was born on March 1, 1941 in Warren County, daughter of the late J. Sandy Williams and Rena Virginia Jenkins Williams. She retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was a member of the Front Royal Women of the Moose Lodge 1194. Gloria was married to the late Douglas Wayne Bear. She was preceded in death along with her parents and husband by one sister, Joyce Elaine Fritts; and one brother, James Bernard Williams. Surviving are one daughter, Christine Gillette and husband Brian of Manassas; two sisters, Peggy Walk and husband Fred of Winchester and Loretta Burnette and husband Jay of White Post; three grandchildren, Robert Gillette, Abigail Gillette, and Samantha Gillette. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Eastman, David Vincent - Cardington  
David Vincent Eastman, 59, of Whetstone River Road was pronounced dead Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at his home in Cardington, Ohio after an extended illness. Born June 9, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas, Vince is the son of Norma Lou Dyer Eastman and Bruce Vincent Eastman of Caledonia, Ohio. Vince attended Bowling Green State University and was a 1973 graduate of River Valley High School, where he ran track, pole vaulting to a record of 13' 7 ½" in 1972. Vince worked most of his career as a cabinet maker in various shops, including his own, between his former homes in and around Washington D.C., and Charlottesville and Front Royal, Virginia. He was recognized for his craftsmanship in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area by the Washington Building Congress. Vince enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, fishing, reading, gardening, NASCAR and other sports, but especially loved living and spending time with friends around his Shenandoah Valley home in Front Royal. Vince was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Lou Dyer Eastman and grandparents. Survivors include his son, Rick (Amy) of Clarksburg, West Virginia, and his grandsons, Skylar and Aidan. He is also survived by his father, Bruce V. Eastman of Caledonia; his brothers, Scott (Mark) Eastman of San Francisco and Brian (Susan) Eastman of Columbus; his sister, Dr. Amy Eastman of Columbus; his nephew, Zakary (Beth) Morvay; and his nieces, Emily Morvay, and Katie and Andrea Eastman.
