Dorothy L. (Clem) Sigler(1939-2012)

Dorothy L. Sigler, 73, of Woodstock, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem.

Dorothy was born in Shenandoah County on August 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Wealthy Clem. She was the wife of the late James W. Sigler. Dorothy was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and she was a cafeteria worker for Shenandoah County Public Schools and unit secretary at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy is survived by daughters, Brenda Morgan, Roanoke and Jean Peer, Woodstock; a son, Robert Sigler and wife Cary, Edinburg; a sister, Betty Lineweaver, Mt. Jackson; three granddaughters, Sara Morgan, Rebecca Sigler and Julia Sigler; and great-grandson, Luke.

Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Robert Harman, will be today at 1:00 pm at Grace United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Billy Wealthy, Jerry Wealthy, Mark Wealthy, John Wealthy, Alvin Romick and Jimmy Romick.
