Freeman Edward Narcross Jr.(1952-2014)

Freeman Edward Narcross, (Jr), 61, of Mt. Jackson, passed away May 4, 2014 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

He was a son of the late Freeman E. Narcross, Sr. and Sarah Narcross, of Woodstock. He was born in Washington D.C. on November 3, 1952.

In addition to his mother, Jr is survived by his wife of 25 years, Judy (Fadeley) Narcross; his sister, Janie Kwedar (William Kwedar, Jr.), of Montross, VA; two brothers, Edward Narcross (Liz Gossert), of Mt. Jackson and Charles Narcross (Michelle), of Sykesville, MD and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Prior to moving to Mt. Jackson he drove a truck for Epes Trucking. Jr was a self employed home improvement contractor.

Jr. was a friend to all and close to his family.

Rev. Fred Mauck will conduct a graveside service Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Morning Star Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mt. Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Rex Fadeley, Mike Fadeley, Bill Fadeley, Will Kwedar III, Todd Narcross and Jeff Narcross.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 7- 8:30 PM at Valley Funeral Service, Bowmans Crossing, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA 22824.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Orkney Springs Fire & Rescue, 4612 Orkney Springs Road, Orkney Springs, VA 22845.
