Gregory S. Boettger, 58, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Boettger was born in 1954, the son of Walter E. and Dorothea J. Boettger. He is a graduate of Dumont High School, in Dumont New Jersey. Gregory was a member of the Catholic faith. He also was a dedicated Elks member as well a gifted artist. Greg was a loving father, son, brother and friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving with his mother are two daughters, Haley Napier and husband Brian of Front Royal, Virginia and Alexandra Boettger of Cross Junction, Virginia; fiancee, Mariela Gutarra of Fairfax, Virginia; two sisters, Linda Deardoff of Flint Hill, Virginia and Mary Ellen Mucciarone and husband Chris of Warrenton, Virginia; three brothers, Christopher Boettger and his partner Kevin Friel of Washington Township, New Jersey, Peter Boettger and wife Patricia of Dumont, New Jersey and Michael Boettger and wife Nancy of Dumont, New Jersey.
Mr. Boettger was preceded in death by his father, Walter Boettger.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Michael Dobbins officiating.
