Harold Franklin Marston, 82, of Woodstock, died Sunday, February 10, 2013.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the Woodstock United Methodist Church by Rev. David Rash. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Marston was born November 5, 1930 in Shenandoah County, the son of the late Clyde and Ada Clem Marston.
He was a lifelong member of the Woodstock United Methodist Church. Beginning in 1949, he became an orchardist and enjoyed beekeeping. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors, collecting toy tractors and trucks, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Marston is survived by his wife of 60 years, Imogene L. Marston; his children, Debbie Cooper, Wayne Marston and wife, Cyndi and Wanda Whitesides and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Travis Cooper, Michelle Cooper, Becky Cooper, Andy Cooper, Adam Marston, Nicholas Whitesides, and Kristopher Whitesides; great grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Conley Cooper; and a sister, Charlotte Dellinger.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Phillips, Joe Snapp, Joe Robinson, Gordon Seibert, Larry Whitesides, and Dudley Rinker.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.
