Jerry Wayne Miller of Enterprise, Oregon (formerly of Jerome, Virginia) died on November 9, 2013.
He was born April 3, 1944 to the late Howard P. and Mary Belle Miller.
Jerry is survived by his wife Bernadine; his siblings, Brenda Litten (H. David), Ronald Miller (Catherine), Steven (Jeanne) and Crystal Miller; brother-in-law, Gary Obenchain; daughter, Lisa Croom (Ron); grandchildren, Mia, Lydia and Cliff Croom, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his wife Cheryl, son Jay, sister Susan Obenchain and nephew Brian Litten.
Jerry was a Meat Cutter most of his adult life. He owned and operated a Mobile Slaughter Unit in Western Oregon and processed wild game for customers for many years.
He was an avid hunter and most of "the kill" was made into full size mounts.
When he wasn't hunting he spent countless hours in his workshop making birdhouses, barns and doll houses for his customers.
A Memorial Service officiated by the Rev. William Ballance will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church - 4109 Jerome Road - Edinburg, Virginia. The family will meet with friends immediately following the service. Inurnment will be private.
