Mildred Sibert Mills, 85, of Front Royal, died at her home on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Mrs. Mills was born in 1928 in Maurertown, VA, the daughter of the late John and Goldie Orndoff Sibert. She was the wife of the late Mack Lee Mills, Jr.
She was a school bus driver for Warren County. Mrs. Mills loved cooking, sewing, gardening and yard work.
Surviving are two sons, Ritchie Mills and Rodney Mills and his wife Angela all of Front Royal; a brother, Robert Sibert of MD; two grandchildren, Jeremy Mills of Stephens City and Holly Mills of Winchester; three step-grandchildren, June Cash, Bobby Combs and Samantha Thorne; four step-great-grandchildren, Larissa Thorne, Brandon Cash, Lillian Thorne and Joy Combs. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Sibert and a step-great-grandchild, Summer Thorne.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at Maddox Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Mills, Bryan Courtland, Robert Combs, Johnny Sibert, and Benjamin West.
