Mary Mauck Obituary

Mary Lucinda Mauck, 87 of Edinburg, widow of Cleve Franklin Mauck, Sr., died Sunday, December 19, 2010.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 1:00 pm at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock by Rev. Hardy Lutz. Burial will follow at the Columbia Furnace Cemetery.

Mrs. Mauck was born in Shenandoah County on November 5, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Lawrence and Vernie Barton Helsley. Mary worked at Blue Bell until her retirement. She was a member of the Community Mission Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Cleve Mauck, Jr. and Alvin Mauck, Sr.; three brothers, Herbert, Charles, and Herman Helsley; and two sisters, Letha Dellinger and Virginia Day.

Mrs. Mauck is survived by five daughters, Judy A. Hottle of Edinburg, Alice Spence, Barbara Miller, Nancy Polk, and Susie Hanson, all of Woodstock; two sisters, Helen Reedy and Gerlene Lutz, both of Woodstock; four brothers, Lawrence Helsley, Ira Helsley, Tommy Helsley, and John Helsley, all of Woodstock; numerous grand, great grand, and great- great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 pm at Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Pallbearers will be David Baker, Charlie Scott, Frankie Mauck, Darrin Gray, Shelby Hanson, Ringo Hottle, and Alvin Mauck, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
