Lynn Walters Anderson, 74, of Winchester, VA, died on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Winchester Medical Center.

Lynn was born on April 1, 1939 in Lehew, WV, the son of the late Walter Charles "Frank" and Madeline "Sook" Reid Anderson.
Lynn was an Auctioneer for 53 years having worked at the Farmers Livestock Exchange in Winchester for 40 years. He also worked for Winchester Floral for 15 years. Lynn and his son partnered and owned KLA Racing Stables for 21 years.

Lynn was a member of the Round Hill United Methodist Church, a 1957 graduate of James Wood High School both in Winchester, VA, a 1960 graduate of the Missouri School of Auctioneering and was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving is a son, Kevin L. Anderson and his wife Ginger of Clearbrook, VA; three grandchildren, Kolton, Kooper and Khloe Anderson; the love of his life for more than 30 years, Ruth Sager Livermore of Winchester, VA; Ruth's children, Kimberly Carter of Stephenson, VA and Ronnie Whetzel of Winchester, VA and Ruth's grandchildren, Justin Carter, Ritchie and Hillary Whetzel.

A funeral service will be held at the Victory Church, 2870 Middle Rd., Winchester, VA on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM.
Officiating will be Pastor Darrell Waller. Interment will be private at the Shiloh Cemetery in Lehew, WV.

Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1 to 3 PM.

In lieu of memorial contributions please volunteer your time as Lynn has done in the community in his memory.

Arrangements are by the Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge, WV.
