Aaron William Disque, 22, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Warren County, Virginia.

Aaron was born in 1990 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Dale William and Dayle Place Disque of Stephens City, Virginia.

He was a graduate of Sherando High School, Class of 2009, and had attended Lord Fairfax Community College. Aaron was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winchester, where he was a former member of the Youth Group. While in the youth group, he actively participated in numerous mission trips and retreats.

Aaron loved golf and was the Assistant Golf Pro at Shenandoah Valley Country Club in Front Royal, having worked there part time since he was 16 years old.

From the time he first played putt putt golf when he was a youngster, Aaron loved the game. When he was older, he took lessons and began to learn everything he could about the sport. His first job was at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club when he turned 16. The golf course became his second home if Aaron wasn't home, he was at the golf course working or playing. He enjoyed the challenges that golf presented and played in as many tournaments as he could. Golf was his life.

Aaron was a kind, caring, loving person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving with his parents are his sisters, Bailey Erin Disque and Delaney Grace Disque; brother, Carter Benjamin Disque, all of Stephens City; grandparents, Dwain and Shirley Place, Bill and Alice Disque, all of Winchester; uncle, Daniel R. Place and wife Terri of Winchester; aunt, Dana D. Hearn and husband Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina; and cousins, Ben and Sydney Place, Patton, Sam and Cooper Hearn.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Will White officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Myles Loughlin, Patrick Darlington, Kolby Madigan, Patton Hearn, Sam Hearn and Cooper Hearn.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Storrs, Ben Berghuis, Jake Berghuis, Glen Carson, Christian Corcoran, Ed Smallwood, and Collin Cook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sherando High School to establish a scholarship in Aaron's name, 185 South Warrior Drive, Stephens City, Virginia 22655.
