Barbara Allen Williams, 85, of Chester Gap, Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center.

She was reunited with her loving husband, Lawrence Randolph "Pig" Williams, who preceded her in death February 25, 2019 after 66 years of marriage.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7 at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Williams and the Rev. Jimmy Burke. Interment will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery in Chester Gap.

Barbara was born February 2, 1934 in Huntly, Virginia, daughter of the late Beverly Garfield Williams and Sidney Elizabeth Williams. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family

Surviving are three sons, Arnold "Mickey" Williams and wife Jane, Lynn "Foot" Williams and wife Mary Jane, and Tony "Tater" Williams and wife Kelley, all of Chester Gap, Virginia; one daughter, Dina Bird Weaver and companion Ricky of Front Royal; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and Brian Williams, who was like a son.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maddox Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
