Carol Thomas Hall, 74, of Bealeton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 29, 2013.

He was born in Warrenton on September 23, 1938, a son of Nettie Virginia and James Fletcher Hall.
Mr. Hall was retired from S.W. Rodgers. Some of his favorite pastimes include playing baseball, fishing, golfing and horseshoes.
He enjoyed playing jokes, horse racing and playing Santa to his nieces and nephews. A devoted family man, he was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather. He leaves his wife of nearly 23 years, Janet A. Hall, a step-son, Roger Boswell and four step-daughters, Tena A. (John) Lohr, Terrena (Troy) Copeland, Tonya Hockman and Tammy J. (Chris) Snapp. He was the brother of Harrison (Ernestine) Hall, Franklin (Dorothy) Hall, Allen (Linda) Hall, Bobby Hall and Leonard (Patty) Hall. Additional survivors include sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Boswell Hall and her daughter, Joanie Barb and a brother, James F. Hall Jr.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, where services will be held on Tuesday, July 2 at 11 AM with Rev. Bob Gordon officiating. Interment to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bealeton, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Piedmont Dialysis Fund, 170 W. Shirley Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186 or Heartland Hospice, 400 Holiday Court, Warrenton, VA 20186.
