Chad William Sneathen, 24, of Winchester, died Monday, April 7, 2014 in Frederick County.

He was born July 28, 1989 in Winchester, the son of Stanley William and Yvonne Miller Sneathen.

Mr. Sneathen had been a block mason with Braginuner Masonry. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, working with cars and was an avid fisherman, camper and hunter.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Gracie Seree Gibson; his maternal grandmother, Jeannie Miller Crosen and her husband Wayne of Winchester; his paternal grandfather, Larry E. Sneathen, Sr. of Strasburg; a brother, Blake E. Sneathen of Strasburg; a sister, Brandy Nicole McKee and her husband Rob of Strasburg; four uncles, Larry E. Sneathen, Jr. of Slanesville, WV, Greg A. Sneathen of Winchester, Brian Shifflett of Martinsburg, WV and Scott Miller of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews.

His father; his paternal grandmother, Peggy Shifflett; his maternal grandfather, Garland R. Miller and his aunt, Shelly Teets are all deceased.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester.
