Charles Richard Andrews, Sr., age 69, of Strasburg passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 in Ocala, Florida.

Graveside rites will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Warren County with Rev. John Rooney officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg.
Mr. Andrews was born May 30, 1941 in Front Royal, a son of the late Edward and Mary Kline Andrews. He was a retired plant foreman for Chemstone Corp. with 36 years of service, an Army veteran, a member of Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg Moose Lodge No. 403 and Fraternal Order Of Eagles, Strasburg.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Helen Rooney Andrews; his daughter, Wendy May Andrews of Strasburg; his son, Charles R. "Andy" Andrews, Jr. of Winchester; his step-daughter, Jennifer Crossway and husband, Brandon of Stephens City; two grandsons, Jarrett Hardgrove and Trevor Andrews. Also surviving are grandparents of Wendy and Andy Andrews, Jr., Loretta and Henry Campbell and their uncle, Petie Campbell, all of Strasburg.
Mr. Andrews was predeceased by his first wife, June Stickles Andrews.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Rooney, James Rooney, Brian Jenkins, Brandon Crossway, Henry "Pete" Campbell and Adrian Campuzano. Honorary pallbearers will be officers of Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg and Medford Middleton.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 No. Holliday St., Strasburg on Friday from 5 to 9 P.M. where a prayer service will be conducted and will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 A.M. on Saturday.
