Elizabeth P. "Catty" Baker age 82, a resident of Fishers Hill passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

A funeral service for Mrs. Baker will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dan Locke officiating. Burial will follow in Fishers Hill Cemetery.

She was born on February 29, 1928 in Fishers Hill a daughter of the late Robert L. & Della Wolverton Pence. She was a member of the Emanuel Church at Fishers Hill.

Survivors include her husband, William "Poss" Baker of Fishers Hill; one daughter, Robin Hoover and husband, Gary of Woodstock; grandchildren, Eric Hoover of Woodstock, and Lisa Shaw and husband Jeremy of Woodstock; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Shaw; step daughter, Sandy Carroll and husband Dennis of Providence Forge, VA; step son, John Baker of West Virginia; step grandchildren, Justin Haggerty, and Caroline Haggerty, William Baker, and Lisa Baker; one sister, Peggy Rosenberger of Fishers Hill.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Carroll, Darrell Axelson, Charles Copeland, Kenny Lineberg, John Rosenberger, and Danny Rosenberger.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm.
