Estella Ellen Taylor, 85, of Maurertown, VA, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Blue Ridge Hospice In-Patient Care Center, Winchester, VA.

A funeral service for Mrs. Taylor will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Guizar and Pastor Keith Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Toms Brook Cemetery.

She was born in Bunker Hill, WV on November 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Perry Patrick and Effie Crena Moomaw Hamilton.

She was member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother who never met a stranger, loved her kids and grandkids, and animals especially her dog, Patches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Alvin Taylor; her late companion, Glen Wymer; and four grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor, Angie Taylor, Jeremy Hamilton and Neil Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Judy Asher and husband Al of Maurertown, VA, Steve Taylor and wife Judy of Toms Brook, VA, Jeanette Taylor of Middleburg, VA, Jerry Taylor and wife Donna of Stephens City, VA, Kathy Ann Palmer and husband Vernon of Middleburg, VA and Wesley Taylor and wife Gloria of Toms Brook, VA; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Beatrice "Bea" Rinker of New Market, VA and Louise "Dot" Moomaw of Mt. Jackson, VA.

Pallbearers will be Scott Palmer, Dusty McInturff, Wes Taylor, Cody Taylor, Jordon Taylor and Jerry Wayne Taylor.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
