Floyd Eugene Huntington, 83, of Toms Brook, VA, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at Zion Christian Church, 1772 Zion Church Road, Maurertown, VA. Pastor Sharon Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Huntington was born December 11, 1934 in Arkansas, son of the late Silas and Viola Tidwell Huntington.

He was a self-employed carpenter and member of Zion Christian Church, Strasburg Moose, Strasburg Eagles and Strasburg American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lou Huntington; three daughters, Vickie Davis and husband Jesse of Oak Grove, LA, Pam Harrington and husband Daniel of Oak Grove, LA, and Sheri Huntington of Tulsa, OK; step daughter, Sandra Lee Crabill and husband Larry of Toms Brook; step son, Charles Fadeley Jr. and wife Debbie of Strasburg; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nick Crabill, Adam Crabill, Don Bauserman, Al Makowski, Frank Davis and Kenneth Turner.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Spade.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Woodstock Police Department, 134 N. Muhlenberg Street, Woodstock, VA 22664.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA. 22824.
