Frances Mae Williams Rudacille, 66, of Front Royal, Virginia, was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on March 18, 2013 at her home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family and friends.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, March 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, Virginia.
A celebration of Frances' life will be conducted Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Chester Gap Baptist Church by Pastor Mike McCartney, Reverend Donald Williams and Reverend James Burke. Interment will follow the service at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, Virginia. Family and friends are invited back to the church for a time of food and fellowship immediately following interment.
Frances was born on December 3, 1946 in Chester Gap to Edith Marie Williams and the late Albert Randolph Williams. Along with her loving mother, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, John (J.C.) Rudacille and her mother-in-law, Madeline Rudacille. Also left to cherish her memory are four siblings and their spouses, Betty and Floyd Lilly and Randy and Teresa Williams of Chester Gap; Shirley and Bill Prosser of Inwood, West Virginia and Greg and Lisa Williams of Front Royal. Her adored nieces and nephews, Jim Lilly and wife Amy of Front Royal, Angela Davis and husband Billy of Browntown, Jake Williams and Emily Williams of Chester Gap, and Amy Williams of Front Royal. Two great nephews, Logan Davis and Nicholas Davis of Browntown; a great niece, Lauren Ashleigh Lilly of Culpeper; one great-great niece, Anekah Lilly of Culpeper; one step great niece, Courtney Lutz and one step great nephew, Adam Lutz; her God children, Hunter, Allyson and Travis Law and Matthew Harrold and Stephanie Bowers and her many special friends. She is also survived by her two faithful dogs, Mickey and Ebbie who have been her constant companions during her struggle with cancer.
She graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1965 and received her accounting degree from Lord Fairfax Community College. She retired from Powhatan School in Boyce, Virginia as the Finance Director. Frances was a lifetime member of Chester Gap Baptist Church holding many offices before her illness. She was a faithful member of Gideons International where she was very active. Her one wish in life was that everyone would know the Lord as their personal Saviour.
Pallbearers will be Jim Lilly, Jake Williams, Logan Davis, Nicholas Davis, Hunter Law, Travis Law and Matthew Harrold. Honorary pallbearers will be Angela Davis, Amy Williams, Emily Williams, Allyson Law and Stephanie Bowers.
We will miss you deeply. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to you. Our family has been so blessed to have you. You enriched all of our lives! Your memories are treasures that we will store in our hearts forever. We know that your pain is gone now and that one day we will all be together in heaven.
